How long have you been with Buerkle?
I am very happy to say I have been with the Buerkle organization for 30 years, starting in 1986 as a Buick salesperson. After the first year I transferred to used car sales. Five years later, I became the assistant used car sales manager. In April of 2000 I was given the job of used car manager and remain in that position to the present.
What do you love about working at Buerkle?
I have enjoyed the many years of being a part of a close knit organization. The open door policy that the owners have makes the work environment fun to show up every day.
What is your special expertise?
I believe I am a great advocate for the salespeople. I realize without them we would not sell the vehicles.
I work hard at being a good listener and use common sense when making the decisions I have to make as part of the management team.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I have a wide array of interests, from music to going out to dinner to spending many days at our annual State Fair. All of these things I enjoy doing with my wife of 35 years and my family. The 9 grandkids have a way of making life very interesting. I am an avid Scuba Diver and enjoy doing underwater photography. I also still have the pleasure of playing on an organized softball team.
